Preparing Breast Milk

It's time to feed your baby and you're going to use the breast milk you've stored. If you've put milk in the freezer thaw it out by running the container under warm water.

Never microwave your milk and don't put it in a pot to bring to boiling temperature! Before you put it in the bottle shake it well and test it for temperature. Lastly you should never refreeze thawed milk but you can refrigerate it for up to 24 hours after it has been thawed.
