Ultrasound at 12 weeks gestation

This pregnancy ultrasound video includes special split-screen imaging and shows you what your baby looks like at 12 weeks, when the fingernails and toenails begin to appear. At this time, your baby weighs about 4/5 of an ounce and is nearly 3 inches long.

A 3D ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to obtain an image of a developing fetus.
