Affect Of TV On Children

Many parents are concerned about the influence television has on their young children. It has been estimated that children in the United States watch, on average, 23 hours of television a week!

One of the biggest concerns about television is the amount of violence portrayed. It’s been suggested that some children tend to be more aggressive when they watch a lot of violent programming.

Watching a lot of tv also contributes to weight problems in children. The more time your child spends inside watching television, the less time they spend outside being active. To limit the amount of television your child watches take the time and engage in fun activities with them instead.
