Wouldn't it be great to communicate with your baby before he or she can even speak? Sign language for infants helps accelerate language development and is also a great way to spend time and bond with your baby. At My Smart Hands baby sign language classes, instructor Laura Berg teaches parents and their babies simple everyday signs to help infants communicate what they want and how they're feeling even before they can say their first word.
There was a recent study done on school children who were having trouble spelling and were taught the alphabet in sign language to help spell the words. By doing this the children were easily able to transfer the image of the words in sign language onto paper, remarkably improving their marks up to 90%.
