Breastfeeding Twins

Many moms of twins wonder whether or not they will still be able to breastfeed. Well an increased demand actually creates an increased supply of milk. Here are some tips for breastfeeding your twins.

First alternate feeding your babies from both of your breasts. This will actually encourage them to drink more milk.
Also buy a twin nursing pillow. It helps support both babies while you are feeding and prevents muscle aches.
It’s also a good idea to invest in a breast pump to help collect milk for future feedings.

If you find your still having troubles talk to a lactation consultant or sign up for a breastfeeding class to help make breastfeeding a little easier.
