Hair Growth in Pregnancy

If you’re pregnant you’ve probably noticed a change in your hair since you got pregnant. And I’m not just talking about the hair on your head I’m talking about all this new hair growing all over your body. Unfortunately this extra hair shows up on your upper lip and chin and cheeks. However, it can also appear on your breasts, back, stomach and arms.

The reason for all this new hair growth is simply hormones. As alarming as it can be to find hair growing in places you’d rather it didn’t grow, after your baby is born your hormone levels will return back to normal and so will your hair growth.
