Hereditary Birth Defects

If you are thinking about becoming pregnant, itís important to be aware of the possibilities of having a child with a birth defect. Birth defects are abnormalities of the structure or function of a baby which can be both physical and mental.

Many birth defects are actually passed along from parents.
