Pregnancy Indigestion

A common problem for pregnant women is indigestion or heartburn.. During pregnancy food stays in your stomach longer and can cause you to feel bloated and as your womb grows, it presses on your stomach, causing indigestion and heartburn.

To prevent indigestion, here are some tips:

First try eating smaller meals a few times during the day rather than one or two big meals
Avoid spicy or fried foods
Also try to drink plenty of milk
And don’t eat or drink before you go to bed
Lastly eat more cereals, pasta, rice and whole bran
