Teenage Mothers: Breaking The News To Parents

Breaking the news to your parents that you’re pregnant when you are a teenager is one of the hardest parts of a teenage pregnancy. Your parents may be unsupportive, angry and most of all concerned since you are a child yourself.

The best thing to do is listen to what they have to say and explain to them what happened calmly. If you’re afraid to break the news to your parents in person, you can always write them a letter instead and explain to them that you need their support. Thankfully there are many services available to help out teen mothers so don’t be afraid to ask for help, whether r it is from your parents, your partner, or a local organization.
