The Baby Blues

Between 50% and 80% of all new mothers experience what is known as the "baby blues." The baby blues are feelings of sadness and let down after you have a baby. These feelings usually show up 3 to 4 days after you give birth and caused by the sudden change in hormones.

Common symptoms include:

Mood Swings
Anxiety
And Loneliness

The baby blues are a mild form of postpartum depression but symptoms usually disappear within a couple weeks. However; if your symptoms last for more than two weeks make an appointment with your doctor.
