What Not To Eat

If you’re trying to get pregnant there are certain foods you should avoid that could decrease your chances of conception. Foods containing preservatives and other chemicals for example, affect blood sugar levels and hormonal balance. Also avoid foods that are high in fat. Caffeine should also be limited as it reduces blood flow to the uterus.

Eating a lot of meat is not recommended because it raises the body's ammonia levels which effects fertility. Soybeans should also be avoided when trying to conceive because it contains a component that is similar to estrogen that can increase the length of menstrual cycles thus decreasing fertility.
