Bath Tips For Baby

It’s time for baby’s first bath, here are some tips to help you out.

First you’ll need a small baby tub. This will save new parents the pain of a sore back and knees and your baby will also be able to sit more comfortably. Fill the tub with 2-3 inches of warm water; test the water with your elbow to make sure it’s not too hot.

Then ease your child into the water using one hand to support her neck and head. Also use a little bit of mild soap as it can easily dry out your baby’s skin. Until your baby is more active, you only need to bathe your child two or three times a week. Use a soft cloth to wash your newborn's face and clean the genital area after every diaper change. Finally, wrap your baby up in a warm, soft towel and gently pat your baby dry. Then put on a clean diaper and clothes and you’re good to go!
