Support for Single Moms
Maternity homes are residences for pregnant women, where the expectant mother can get access to counseling, aid in applying to public assistance programs, nutritional advice, aid and encouragement in continuing education and identifying career opportunities, and sometimes access to adoption services. Most homes utilize volunteers to drive the moms-to-be wherever they need to go such as the supermarket and doctor’s appointments.
