Diaper Changing Tips
Diapering a baby provides a chance for parent and child to spend special time together.
Before you change your baby’s diaper make sure you have the following:
fresh diapers
wipes
trash can
new outfit
diaper rash cream
Make sure you keep one hand on your baby the whole time to prevent falling. Also avoid using powders on your baby’s bum which are harmful and use cream instead.
Practice teaching your child good hygiene habits by washing yours and your baby’s hands after each diaper change. Changing your baby’s diaper also gives you the opportunity to start teaching your child about their body.
A bonus: If you involve your children in their own diapering, it will help them make the transition to toilet training easier.
