Eating disorders seriously affect your hormonal system. Before getting pregnant it’s necessary for you to get your weight under control.
There are a lot of risks to your baby if you get pregnant while still battling an eating disorder, including: miscarriage, and low birth weight.
Women who have an eating disorder during pregnancy have an increased risk of: Labor complications, needing a c-section and Postpartum Depression.
If you suffer from an eating disorder, it is strongly recommended that you get treatment before you get pregnant.
