Many women complain of tender nipples that make nursing painful and frustrating. Here are some ways to ease your discomfort:

· First be sure your baby is positioned correctly
· After feeding, expose your breasts to the air and apply some lanolin cream which will help soothe your breasts.

· Be sure to wash your nipples only with water and not with soap.
